I have a Lyman 450 sizer which has served me very well and am interested in getting another sizer so it will be easier to try different lubes.

I could wait untill a 450 turns up on e-bay or buy a new 4500. Is there much difference between the two? Are the bases and mounting holes the same?
Anything that makes the 4500 better than the older model?

I would really appreciate any coments on the advantages or disadvantages between the two.

Thanks,

The 4500 has two advantages. The base was redesigned to limit the possibility of leakage and the base was modified so that an optional heater can be instaffed. I've got one 45, one 450 and numerous 4500's. I certainly like them.
