Hello please forgive me but I am New on this Forum . However not new to using star lubers . Just a tip if you are having trouble with getting 3 small dots of lead on the base of your bullets just lube them nose down You will have to adjust the pusher/punch to line back up so the holes in the die are lining up with bullet groove But now if you get any spots of lube it will be on the nose and will not get on the base to contaminate your powder charge. I used to have to wipe the bases and on 45ACP using H&G 68 bevel base it was a PITA. I have been doing it nose down for 35+ years and 300,000 + rounds later this way does work better "PRAISE THE HARD-BALL GUN" Camp Perry 1972-2005

Perry shooter,

Welcome to the site...

The trick to getting rid of the dots altogether is to adjust the pressure and temp so that the dots disappear, either lower the pressure, lower the temp, or both.

I have found that what John posted works for me also.
