Today I loaded my first batch of PC'd bullets in .40. My routine over the years before starting a session beside cleaning and lubing the press, was to remove the seat die and hog out all of the wax that slowly builds up in there. If left alone the buildup would eventually change my seating depth if not cleaned regularly. When I cleaned out the die, I realized this may be the last time I ever do it, unless PC will eventually do the same thing. In the meantime, that's one little annoying chore I may not have to do again.

You will find that your dies and barrels will stay clean ( with proper sizing and loads)
another benefit is you limit your handling of lead

Amen to that! The seat die is staying like new. It was such a PITA with waxy lube. The cleanliness alone is worth the effort, having ammo to shoot when many are either out or paying silly prices having the ammo is priceless.

It's likely going to be years before i get enough space to cast my own, but I'm definitely going to Powder Coat my bullets when I get the chance to do so.

You hit upon the main reason why I went to PC.
