Wow, to think I could have SnB'd my bullets watching TV, set them on three or maybe even four trays in this purpose built powder coating oven for small parts. But, as it is the lure of $6 thrift shop ovens is just too good to pass up for an upgrade :-)

I assume the lava rocks / grill briquettes keep the temp more stable?

ceramic briquettes/lava rock/??? material that holds heat helps the oven get back to temperature faster after opening the door (at least that's why I do it)

the open oven with 2 thermometers in it I haven't used yet (I bought it because the price was right) I've tested it will be a good backup oven.

Oven 2 goes down to 150° and I use that for warming/drying out boolits before PCing when it's really muggy (High humidity) or the boolits have been sitting around a long time.

I have run 2 full trays at a time in oven 2.
