Has anyone any info regarding a good smith to convert my Peabody from rimfire to centerfire?. Have the Starline brass, both in 56-50 and 50-70 and a 50 caliber bullet mold. have has this carbine for some years and would like to get it up and running before they shovel the dirt over me. Barrel definitely needs to be cut back about a 1/2" as it looks like they drove nails with it.And needs recrowning. Barrel is in nice shape. I have a spare RF breech block for the conversion. Sorry for the double post. Frank
