I'm having a difficult time sourcing a correct aftermarket grip for my Redhawk in 45 colt. It seems to be different from .357 or .44. Both Hogue and Pachmayr warn that the super Redhawk uses a different fit than the regular Redhawk. So I bought a Hogue 86000 - supposed to be for regular Redhawk... and here's the poor fit:

I like the revo, but I can't keep it on target with anything but puff loads. Just can't get a grip on the tiny thing.

The above photo is the hawk in 45 colt with the stock grip model 5050.

Has anybody gone down this road? What is a good grip that really fits?

As noted,, the Redhawk, and the Super Redhawk do have a different grip frame. And now we also have what you own,, a rounded butt Redhawk.
You need to discuss things in detail with Hogue to get the proper grip necessary.
A polite call will get you answers. But be forewarned,, if you are seeking a longer grip to allow you to hold more,, they may not make one like that yet. The roundbutt model was designed to be a bit more "compact" (if you can call a Redhawk compact in any form.)

I have a set of rosewood grips from Eagle Grips on my .45 colt Redhawk. They fit very well and I've been really happy with them.

Apparently the Hogue 86020 is made for the round butt Redhawk.

Get the correct Pachmayr Presentation (https://www.lymanproducts.com/presentation-grips) for your model. You won't regret it.

I agree. These grips seemed thin when I installed them but they are very nice and absorb recoil nicely.
