Anyone know an "off the shelf" boolit mold maker that can make a 40gn 0.224 boolit for my 22 Hornrt?

NOE has a real nice 37 or 38gr FP mold. I spend too much time looking on his site.

The closest you will get to 40 gr. is the NOE 37 gr. as most others are 45+ gr.

I have cast this one for years specifically for use in my magazine fed Anschutz .22 Hornets. It is the smallest bullet I make and is quite challenging to cast and size because it its so small.

In the pic below are a few culls I sized for examples L to R:

NOE copy of the RCBS 55 gr. .224

NOE 45 gr. .224 WFN - I also have this in a GC version

NOE 37 gr. .224

Miha had a group buy on the 37 gr hollow point 3 cavity brass. I have one and love it. Go to MP molds and see if he has any left over.

Do you need grease grooves or are you powder coating?

225107 was not accurate enough in my very accurate CPA .218 Mashburn Bee, but the hollowpoint was/is deadly with some creative lubing/sizing in my .22 airguns. In my pb guns Lyman's 224415 is tops even at high speeds.

I will be powder coating, the price of "J" boolits has gone to $AU45/100 so powder coating a gas checked cast boolit will feed my little Brno and Mashburn Bee for years to come. I have already had great results with PC in my 223 Remington.
