How do I delete items in the private message area?

My PM area is getting to full.

How do I delete old ones?

to the right of the messages there is a small white box, check off the ones you want to remove, then scroll down to the bottom of the page, just above the page #chooser there is a box marked "Selected Messages". click it and make the appropriate choice. The system will prompt you thu the rest

No problem, the same also works for the sent box, you have to select it over on the left side of the screen when you are in the inbox.
