I have loaded and shot it
Kills ducks great

IMO it isn't cast , it is impact formed out of chunks cut from a "wire" core
Some pellets have what looks like a vent hole tit of the pellet metal sticking out slightly

Not sure exactly sure of the make up
But it is Tungsten-based
So I don't think it would cast worth a hoot

Thanks..
I've cast bullets for years.
But I'm playing with Buck-shot and slugs, I have a feeling that supplies are going to get low, and I want to ba able to make waht I can,
I can make a shot dripper for small shot if I have to,, but I have many other projects,, on the list first.

the banded shot looked interesting,

Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if it'd work better than round buckshot even if you cast it out of lead.

I picked up some ITX for next season. I can make a case of shells last me two seasons it seems, so I got a bag of 2's and a bag of 4's. Am interested to see how it does compared to steel.
