Just got a call from a buddy and he is on his way to my house with 510 pounds of wheel weights. Now the waiting is the hard part.

[smilie=w: Well, he showed up with them in a 55 gal drum, as we were digging them out to put in buckets, I saw regular WW’s, a bunch of the big ol truck ww’s, and a bunch of stick on weights. I also saw a few battery cable ends. The best part of it is it cost me a total of $70.00 for the ww’s, beer and gas money!!
He also said he has pure lead, and a 55 gal drum full of linotype.!!!!!!!!!!!![smilie=w:

Lucky B******! Send some over my way in Columbus. Went to a scrap yard today and was asking about lead and they looked at me like I was on drugs.

A 55 gal drum full of lino sounds like an excellent opportunity to me. My guess is that flat rate boxes of 55-60 lbs would go like hotcakes in swapping & selling.
That's a lot of lino!
Cheers :drinks:

Ohhh man... I wish I was that lucky. Imagine what one can do with 500lbs of WW, and all that lino
I wish I had friends like that....

When you get it all sorted out, let me know if you want to do some lead vs lino swapping. I would be interested. If you decide to keep it all, I fully understand.
