new TC G2 in .375 JDJ to me.

i had a TC contender pistol in .375 jdj years ago and gave up on it due to recoil, but i kept the dies-cases-bullets, when a like new TC factory 23" barrel in 375 jdj came in a trade i decided to give it a try again. what a surprize, after loading several different loads i settled on imr 4895 and hornady 220 gr bullets(2 boxes) that i had left over from the pistol . started at 47 grs and ended up at 50 grs that gave 2300+ fps and 1to1.25" three shot groups at 100 yards with a older 6x leupold scope. i have quite a few 38-55 cast 250 gr bullets to try.

i shot the jdj yesterday with the hornady 220 gr bullet with 47grs and 50 grs of imr 4895 and a 250 gr sierra with 47 grs imr 4895, and the 50 gr load with 220 hornady bullets won out with 2300+ fps and three holes touching at 100 yards. the other loads shot into less than 2" and would due for most hunting.
