That 'Third Award' bar in the middle of his Rifle Expert badge
will look real good on a Class 'A' or 'C' uniform,,,,,,,,,,,, and on his fitness report.

A co-worker's son was a troubled youth, largely because his mother, friend's ex-wife, did nothing to encourage good behavior. That lead to my friend getting full custody of his kids, including his son. Well, having a lot of bad habits to overcome, my friend put him in a military boarding school his senior year. Within 6 months, son called and told his dad he was enlisted in the Corps.

Michael graduated high school with honors, went to Camp Pendleton the following Monday. My friend was so proud to attend his son's ceremony of completing boot camp. Michael is 12 years into the Corps, married, and raising proud Americans. Even his Mother apologized for not being a good mom, and told her son how proud she was for his accomplishments. She begrudgingly acknowledged the same of my friend. Oh, Michael was already a crack shot before he joined the Corps, after all, His Dad was a Marine before he went into Law Enforcement.

Nice to hear of a young man serving our Country, and doing well. God bless him, and keep him safe.
