These are 44 Cal. bullets They are different designs.

Looks like the bullet on the right might have originally been cut for a gas check and someone drilled it out. Then hid the fact by sizing the bullet. As cast you might see a shadow where the drill stopped and the original casting began.

What you think you see isn't actually there. Here are two pics sized and unsized 1 bullet from each cavity

What is the mold number? What is the weight? I have a nice little Ly 358242 that drops a 107 grain bullet with extra wide base band and I for sure know how it got that way. It used to drop a 121 grain bullet with a measly thin base band so was drilled through the base band and lube groove, then milled to length. You did not say if this is one mold with two different cavities cut in it did you?

One mold one design. The bullet weighs 258 grains from Lyman #2
