what alloy are you using and wondering about the load and velocity. two calibers I have yet try cast bullets in are 243 and 270 I've always thought of them as 3000fps loads

Basically #2 alloy, LBT Blue lube, playing with 15 to 16 grains of 2400, Winchester Large Pistol Primer, 1 grain of Dacron filler. Have not checked velocities. This combination of powder, filler and primer also shoots well in my 257 Roberts. I will also be testing in 243 and 7-08 as time permits.

After deer season, I'll begin the endeavor of cast in the 6.5 Creedmoor. My son's .260 may get some too.

After a 6.5 Swede that didn't work out and went down the road, I have quite a few various 6.5 cast bullets around to try out. Looks like you have it figured out.
