How fast can these be driven? They have a hollow skirt, looks like the edges well be pretty thin (guesstimating from looking at the mold) Seems it would be easy to blow the skirt off if fired with too heavy a charge. Any suggestions on a load for this?

JohnH , When you say hollow base I assume you are talking about a "minne" and not a maxi bullet? All Maxis I have seen are flat based?
In a buddys .50 Scout rifle we could not get it to shoot sabots worth a darn.I had some Lee .50 [500-345M] cast up so we tried them. Had it grouping 3" or so at 50 yd.in 15 minutes vs 24" for his sabots. He was happy. Used 90 gr of ff goex.He could get off about 6-7 rounds before any wipeing was required
One thing with a hollow base is cavity and skirt must be prefect. Any line, wrinkle or void must be scraped.Any boo bo there could cause a problem
I do not know what the max charge will cause a skirt failure of a good minne?
Hope this helps.
