Well it has been in the low 60's here in south Texas so I cast some soft (10BHN) bullets using the spread sheet. Got to hogs with the 158 gr. Lee RNFP. Both bullets where out of my Ruger Blackhawk 4 3/8 inch barrel.
The boolits both were stopped on the far side by the hogs hide. Although I don't have pictures both bullets expanded to the size of a nickel which I consider good expansion. The load was 15 grains of Hodgdon H110 which is a max load in this gun. The hogs were shot at about 50-60 yards.
Not bad for cast boolits.
