I had a few half moon clip's with empties sitting on the bench and today I was once again trying to pry the brass out with my fingers....

Going back across some old threads I found most folks use a thin wall pipe out the outside and cut off most of it leaving a shelf to use as a fulcrum to twist the empties away from the clip....

well,, sure enough I didn't have ANY thin wall pipe available,, but coming back inside the house I noticed,,,Yer basic old time clothespin's sitting on the line and ...[smilie=1:

I shaved a bit off each side and slid the tips in a 45 case and ever so simply pried the brass right out.

wow,, frugal and simple, the brass is held tight when prying, but then the brass slips right off when free of the clip, no tubes 8-10" long full of empties to wave and dance around, no hacksaw and no expense since I had a package of the pins.

Wow. I impressed myself considering I was up all night in pain and couldn't sleep.

Try it,, its simple.
