Anyone know a manufacturer besides RCC Brass who will make custom cases? I want some .500 S&W brass that is identical in all dimensions aside from length, the standard. 500 S&W case is 1.615 inches long, and I'd like some made that are 1.875 inches long.

The reason I don't wanna use RCC is because they machine the cases on a lathe, which makes the cases cost around 4-6$ a piece, and they have a minimum order of 250 cases for each new case you want them to make, so that's like 1250$ in cases alone.

Custom anything is going to be expensive, usually very expensive. Have you looked into case reforming? There is a sub forum specifically for that, you may be able to get help there.

Sometimes you can buy what is called basic cases. Basically an unformed, untrimmed case. Starline sells some, but I have no idea if there is such a thing as 500 s&w basic.

Well it seems RCC sells something called .500 S&W long mag, which is a .500 case lengthened to 2.25 inches, so it seems my best bet would be to buy some of those and trim them myself.
