Is there any chance of a REAL screw up by adjusting the trigger spring screw on a savage/stevens model 200? My buddy has one of these in .223 and the trigger is about 8 pounds!

jhalcott,
If I remember correctly, the Stevens shares the same trigger as the earlier versions of the Models 10, 12, and 110, 112.
In that case this may help...

Read it until you understand the adjustment sequence...you must follow it step by step.

If you don't, the safety will jam in place. Ask me how I know.
