can anyone tell what an rcbs r2 press is worth . I found one in a gun store today and it is in excellent shape? thanks for any help

Depending on condition; paint, ect., it should be worth $150, maybe more. Be sure and check for how well the ram fits in the press (slop, ect.)

R2???? RS2 possibly. These are a cheaper RCBS line. In nearly new condition tops at $50.00

Adjustable jaw shellholder? Pics please. I’ve sold a couple 2A’s on eBay for $300. Kept one for swaging bullets. Hell for stout presses!

Sounds more like an A4 - Big Max.
They were made with both a roller handle and a self adjusting universal jaw shell holder.
The A2 did not come with either unless added by the owner as custom mods.

The roller handle would be an owner modification. The shellholder is still, or was recently, available from Quintenics, the bullet puller people.
But, just if it should be the RCBS adjustable shellholder, then that's another story. They are out there, but seldom seen anymore.
