I saw that American reloading, the place that has overpriced pulled bullets, has been offering powder, called midwest powder, that supposedly is over run from ammo manufacturers , I found this info a bit sketchy as if any ammo manufacturers would have too much powder and if they are pulling bullets what are they doing with the powder. I guess I question everything. my only experience with them was years ago paid them for 1000 90gr 6.8 gold dots and received 500 115 grain fmj
learned my lesson the hard way.

redeye reloading in sc has the powder. it is military pull down and overrun powder.

I have placed a couple of orders for milsurp powder from Redeye reloading. One was a Midwest Powder. Never had any complaints.

I just got an E-Mail saying they got something back in stock.

Turns out it is a Midwest Powder "MP-190".

Based on their load data (see below), it looks real close to Autocomp (especially the 45 ACP load) which is the Hodgdon powder between Universal and HS-6.

The 12 lbs for $250 and 6 lbs for $150 with shipping & hazmat included are both very tempting.

Caliber – 9mm
Charge – 5.6 gr
Bullet – 115gr FMJ
Avg. Velocity – 1,060 fps

Caliber – .40
Charge – 6.5 gr
Bullet – 180gr FMJ
Avg. Velocity – 935 fps

Caliber – .45 ACP
Charge – 6.6 gr
Bullet – 230gr FMJ
Avg. Velocity – 890 fps
