Short answer: yes.
also needs to be "worked" at a higher temperature than alloy lead

softer, cast = smaller , harder = larger
hotter = smaller (more shrinkage) cast cooler= larger
the purer the lead the more it shrinks

Pure shrinks the most. The higher the antimony/tin the less it shrinks on cooling. That's why type metals have such a high antimony/tin content. And to reduce deformation from use.
