Danth, before you start asking the hammer and breech block, you have to determine if yours is the Small or Large Action
In Frank de Haas’s book, Single Shot Rifles & Actions in chapter 17, he covers both 1889 Sideplate versions. There is the exploded parts view for both models with the large action drawn to size and read this thread on ASSRA ... https://www.assra.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1382481426/1

Your best approach since the Side Plate actions are so rare is to buy the Frank de Haas’s book, Single Shot Rifles & Actions ... and start doing your homework. Good Luck
