Noe 316-213-rn

I just wanted to give Al Nelson at NOE credit for making a great mould. I just got done casting several hundred 316-213-RN bullets for my .303 The bullets come out of the mould very smooth at .317" and that is what I size them at. I previously used a Lyman 314299 that cast this same design bullet but came out undersized at .313 with all kinds of machining marks around the bullet.This Lyman mould was not near large enough and resulted in leading. The new NOE mould more closely matches the rifle as best as I can measure without leading. I'm now going to work up a good load for my rifle. I would highly recommend NOE moulds especially for the .303.

I had one of those NOE moulds in 5 cav aluminum. When I sold the .315 bore 91/30 the mould went with it.

Mine would drop at .316+, I sized to .316 and it shot very well.

Al makes a very nice mould.
