I've searched, but have only found a few customs that I didn't really like?

.

Heritage sells holsters, but nothing for the 16" barreled .22

I sure wouldn't want to draw a 16" barreled revolver from a belt holster (maybe a cross-chest bandolier-type holster).

You might be looking at custom holster samples that you don't like, but "custom" means a customer can get exactly what they want - so you might want to have some conversations with various makers.

I'd explore fitting it with a sling, instead - but YMMV, of course.

I'll check more into it. I figure it will most likely have to be a crossdraw, but a low slung hip holster with the tip of the barrel at ankle high might be on the table :p

I didn't really have a use for the 16". It was an impulse buy because I think it's neat to look at.

When I saw it on the wall I immediately thought of Jack Nicholson's Joker and the ridiculously long pistol he pulled out.

The pistol isn't a bank breaker and will make for a nifty conversation piece at the range.

Get a skid plate for the muzzle.

That 16" barrel brings back shades of an old short lived comedy cop movie with Clint Eastwood and Ole Burt. City heat...Burt has a Luger with about a 12" barrel and Clint a SAA with what appears to be a 20....lol

The only reasonable alternatives are a cross draw angled like a sword scabbard, or a low slung chest Style holster, like those made by Simply Rugged.
