I shoot the Schofield in the Colt’s SAA, mold 452374 sized to .452”. They shot the Schofield in the Colt’s back on the frontier too. The new Starline brass is excellent, I have brass and nickel Schofield brass by Starline and they are both excellent

yes Starline brass is good stuff. I also am sizing to 452 and powder coating.

Hi...
I have about 300 rounds through my Schofield in .45Colt that I bought used earlier this year.
Shooting my standard .45Colt load of a 255gr coated commercial cast LSWC over 8.0gr of Unique.
Really enjoying this revolver. Little bit different compared to the other SA revolvers in .45Colt that I own.

I had one a couple years ago, on a trade. Got it and a box of Black Hills ammo. Sold gun but still have the ammo, never shot it. I had an original that was in good shape but was a cut down from a long barrel. Never shot it either.

I found a used Schofield about a year ago. Had to seat the RCBS boolit a bit deeper to make it fit. Loading more gentle rounds to make it easier on it. Also trying lighter boolits to work up a good load.

Mine is a S&W made in 2000. Yes I shoot it and it is remarkably accurate.

Congrats barnabus - that's a great looking revolver and it looks like it shot well! I keep looking at the Uberti Schofield . . . and drooling . . . and drooling some more!

I shoot the Schofield cartridge out of my Uberti 7 1/2" Cattleman - I use a reduced load of Red Dot under a Lyman/Ideal 454-190 RNFP and it shoots equally as well as the 45 Colt loads with the same boolit.

I keep telling myself that I don't need any more revolvers . . . but the Uberti Schofield may change that in a weak moment. Right now I'm looking for a used Uberti 1858 Remington 44 as I have a conversion cylinder that needs tp be used - 45 Colt. After I get that taken care of, who knows? :-) Enjoy that Schofield - I have a feeling you will be smiling every time you pull the trigger!
