300 AAC black out rifling twist

how fast could you drive a cast bullet out of a 1/8 twist barrel in 300 AAC before you would run into trouble, i was thinking about 150-185 grain pills.

145 = 2k fps
170 PB 900 light load, ~1500 357ish load - not chronyd.
185GC - doesn't make any sense. Probably 1500 max.
10" 1:8 pistol.

2000 fps in a 1:8 puts you at 180,000 rpm... That's pretty high in the RPM range.

But - 1500 fps puts you in a good place at 135,000 rpm.

From the 1:8 10 pistol, not the most accurate but hot ones are hard to handle recoil. Sitting at bench with SB front rest. 50 yds, all holes are round. Middle is 145gr hot.

I push a 140 to 2000fps in an even faster 1 in 7 16in barrel and get 2moa accuracy or better at a 100 yards. My two 1 in 7 pistols will do 1.5 at 50 yards. I don't shoot them any further for groups because they have red dots where the rifle has a scope. I do cast them hard (at least 18bhn) and pc them and it is a gas checked bullet. I would guess in a 1 in 8 you could easily match factory level velocitys. Heck im doing what 150 factorys would do in a 1in7.
