Different core material????

Probably a silly question.
Is there anything else that can be used as core material?????
Not going to be used for shooting.
Just decoration.
Probably need something that can be deformed, and have enough resistance so it won't collapse.

Pack enough cornstarch into the jacket (may have to repeat as needed) and the pressure of seating the core turns it into a type of plastic. I have made a few of these out of .705" .224 jackets just to try it.
