Loaded some Ranch Dog 265's sized .433 over 22 of 296. Groups opened after 3 shots as barrel heated. I may need to sand the forearm. Target is at 100 yards with a Nikon 2x7. Pretty good shooting for a short lever action. I had 2 1894's awhile back, a .357 and .44 mag, the .44 would shoot rings around the .357. They both shoot very good but the .44 always shot better.

I use that bullet, sized .433, for my Marlin 1894 also. Mine prefers Alliant 2400 powder.

That’s a good combo. I have that mold too. Your gun is more than ready to hunt.
