I intend to do some .308 Win. load development work using a Lyman mould I bought new thirty or more years ago. It's stamped #311335 and was a re-introduction, I believe. WW bullets weigh about 205 grains gas checked. This is a roundnose design. Lyman shows the #311335 is a pointed bullet of about the same weight. I suppose my mould should have been stamped #311333 as the bullets looks like that one. Regardless of Lyman's number designation, has anyone worked with the bullet cast from a mould like mine - the round nose design?

Some rifles need a round nose boolit to feed reliably. I have one such 180 gr. mold and it shoots just fine. Either 10 gr. of Unique or 17 of 2400 in .308.
