Was checking out the springield sporters web site on 1891 argie parts. They list two styles of bolts for that rifle. One is the standard rifle and the other is foe the carbine. What exactly makes the two different?. The way the bolt handle is?. Either straight out or bent? Inquiring minds wish to know. Frank

.............Frank, bent = carbine. Straight = Infantry (29" bbl). The bent bolt won't clear a scope as the bolt handle comes straight out of the bolt for a short ways before curving down.
