Whitworth and I went hunting this morning and he shot the 7 point with his converted SRH .475 and I shot the doe with my 45-70 BFR.

I don't know, I am guessing 140 to150#.

I have no way to weigh a deer but he was heavy to lift with the pulleys. When they start getting over 150# I need help by someone lifting the deer as I pull on the rope.
I have shot 3 does that went a little over 200# on a scale. I could not lift them from the ground with the pulleys without help.
That is the only way I can gauge weight. It is something I never worried about anyway because the smaller deer are better to eat. I prefer yearlings. :bigsmyl2:
There seems to be a relation of the length of the nose to weight too. My large does had VERY long heads and long bodies. Hoisted until their heads were against the joist in my garage, the feet were still on the floor. From that point all is just a guess.
When I can pick up a deer by myself, it goes in my freezer! [smilie=s:
