450 Marlin

Thinking of trying some of these 405gr RNFP in my .450M

Any suggestions for a powder to start with? Maybe H322 or RL7?

I've never messed with the shorter cases but h322 is the only powder that works in my pistol and 1895. For just a rifle there are many good powders depends on how much you like hambuger shoulder though

I shoot the NOE 405 in my 450 Marlin lever and a Ruger #1. IIRC about 15 or so grains Unique. Mainly because I have 25 pounds of it. Never tried 322 or RL7.
