I am new to this forum, but have been casting pistol boolits for years. I am trying to develop a load for a 6mm BR. Our club has a cast match every week and I believe this particular caliber would make a winner if I can get the load right, I would like to use a 90 gr. boolit as that is what I have cast and gas checked. I would like to use either Varget or H335 powder. can some one help with a starting point for either of these powders?
Thanks,
Pete

If you're going to Atglen try to get hold of Mike Mohler. He shoots a 243 and 6x222 and could probably give you a lot of help.

Hopefully, you can use the boolits you've made. If you have a 12 twist instead of a 14 twist, you will have a good chance to come out OK for a hunnert yards. Shoot for 2400 fps. ... felix

Lee lists 27.5gr varget @ 2674fps and 24.0gr 335 @ 2432fps for a 90gr Jword bullet. He doesn't list any cast loadings for the 6BR.

I have j word info, does anyone have the formula to convert j word to cast?
Thanks
Pete
