I am working on a rifle in 22 Lady Bug as the cartridge was named by NoZombies.
The OD of his case is.247”, the Letter “D” drill/reamer size and he reams the case mouth .244” to make a very light press fit and the chamber is .250”, .003” clearance.
Lady Bug brass is time consuming to make and I would prefer not to ream the case mouth, one less step to go wrong and less time to make cases.
I have the ability to make simple reamers called “D” reamers so I can make my chamber the size I need.
I am making a set of loading dies and made the expander button.224” and when I measured the OD it is .252”, way to big for a.250” chamber.
I originally made my OD .250” but followed NoZombies since he has done more work successfully than I have.
If I go with a larger chamber my brass will expand to fit so that will not be a problem.

If I make brass in the future .250”OD what size should I make the chamber?
