Just a few minutes ago, I started a GoFundMe thingy for my nephew, Oliver.
A little background:
He is about 3, and has a serious case of “bottle rot”. To the uninformed, this is basically like a child version of “meth mouth”. His teeth are rotted and black, and he is need of some pretty invasive dental work to get it corrected.
His parents (my brother and his now ex wife) are in the middle of a pretty ugly custody battle. My brother is trying to save up enough to cover half of the cost, but with his current situation, that’s a long ways off.
So I created a GoFundMe for Oliver’s teeth. My brother does not know another this, and I’m hoping to be able to just surprise him with the funding needed to get his son’s teeth fixed.
