My father-in-law died this afternoon at 2:20pm.
He was 92 years old, his worn out body went peacefully to his reward.
He served in the army as an enlisted soldier, at the tail end of WW2.
Went on to finish college and enlisted into the Marine Corp as an officer and fought in the Korean war.
Worked as an executive in a small company until retiring at 65.
I was the first son-in-law in the family, so it was my job to pave the way for the rest who married into family, not an easy job.
My wife is napping, it's been a rough couple of days.
Today is D-Day isn't it.
