Since my recent Windows 10 Edge update I am getting a Not Secure notice for the Cast Boolits site and a few others that never showed before.
Any of you techies know why this happened and what to do about it?....dale

Don't have to do anything - if you will notice when you go to a site for payment it is always https:, not http:. That s means it is a secure, incepted site. This one isn't and doesn't have to be.

When I’m on, it says “Not Secure—castboolits.gunloads.com”

Just another bit of The Too Much Information I get anymore from the endless Upgrades that load on these Devices. Noted and ignored. Never got any spam or viruses or unwanted stuff from this site.

You're getting that because the owners/operators of this site have elected to not enable SSL.

This one isn't and doesn't have to be.

But it is and it should be. Without SSL, your login credentials are transmitted to the site in plain text and can be easily intercepted. I'm sure you all use strong, unique passwords for each site you visit, but it's 2020...SSL isn't rocket surgery.

They can look at my site, they will be disappointed. No body looks at windows xp as a gold mine anymore LoL.

I realize it’s your site but anything that requires a password should be encrypted. I have self signed certificates for my personal servers and they were easy to setup. I honestly never knew the login portion of this site wasn’t https. Glad I use a unique password.
