I have one of those. You used to be able to get the strip of caps for the cap guns, form the percussion cap, then insert the cap gun cap as the primer. They don't make those kind of caps anymore. Any other suggestions on what one can use as the primer material that will set off the percussion charge ??

They still make the roll caps, just gotta look around. They aren't as powerful as they use to be. They also sell the compound to put in the caps. One can put a tiny bit of BP under the roll can inserted in the cup to give it a boost of powder.
