T/C Peep Sight Thread Pitch

I just purchased a T/C peep sight in the S&S section, I want to mount it on my Renegade. I need to get a D&T set, does anyone know the thread pitch on the original screws (included wit the sight)?

Is your tang already tapped? If not, #8-40 fits perfect, and is likely what TC used.

No the tang isn't tapped, I'll need to do that myself. I'll try the 8-40 and see if it matches the screws that came with the sight. Thanks!

the 8-32 is recommended. Use a #29 drill bit.
