Mauser 98 Guard screw length

I need to know the length of the rear guard screw for a 98 Mauser.

I’m replacing the stock (spotter) on my Mauser. The screw I have is short.
It measures 1.315 from the shoulder to the end. I would think 1.65 ish would be close.

I want to pick up a replacement but they list it as .25 x 22 tpi length varies.

Can someone please tell me what the standard screw length is?

1.430" (1.665" OAL)from the shoulder to the end on new replacement, 1.450"(1.660"OAL)from shoulder to the end on an military locking style

The new replacement screw has a convex/rounded head, the military has a flat head

I’m glad you listed the length, I did not see it on the midway page.
Now to measure if 1.430 is long enough.
