A friend has given me some alloy that is fairly hard and VERY silvery looking.
This alloy was in an electric cooker taht he aquired and had already been melted.
The big question is, the cooker only goes to 400 degrees, and that was hot enought to melt the alloy.
Hepored the alloy off and tried to melt pur lead in the cooker, and all the ingets did were to turn kinda bluish, never even deformed.
Curious as to what this alloy might be
