I notice that most threads on this forum seem to have an open orange,or yellow envelope on the left of them, and I have figured out what the lock, and the arrow mean, but I notice that some have a blue closed envelope instead..What does that mean?..Thanks

if you post to the thread it shows an arrow, if its a thread you have not seen its an open envolope, if its a closed thread it has a lock and a bent arrow, the colors mean stuff too.

The blue or yellow (color depends on whether you are signed on or not) seem to depict threads with less than a dozen replies and the red envelopes depict threads with more than a dozen replies.

The colors indicate how popular it is, blue being less and red being a hot thread. Closed envelope means you've looked at the thread and open means a new comment you've not seen.

Also, if you hold your pointer over the envelope for a few seconds it will tell you how many replys you have posted in that thread.

Thanks ...with a Rosetta Stone the hieroglyphs now make some sense .
Never could figure out what all those symbols meant ... except the lock!
