I'm looking at either their .226x.222 plug or the .228x.224 plug. I'd be loading these with jacketed bullets at .224" diameter. I kind of wish there was a .223" diameter plug...assuming 0.001" spring back that'd get me two thousandths neck tension which seems about right. With the .224 plug I'd have 1 thousandth, which I don't know if that's really enough. As a rule, I don't use a crimp. I consider it unnecessary and if my ammo needs it, then I made a mistake somewhere else, and I don't really want to start having to use one.

On the other hand, the .222 plug is going to come out to around three thousandths neck tension. Seems a little excessive the other way. Which one would I be best going with?

At $6.50 each, get both! I honestly think the 224 plug would be enough, but I have to ask why .224 diameter bullets?
