Can someone help me out pricing a Lyman 45 sizer lubricator? It is in good shape overall and comes with box and instructions. I can post some pics if that would help. I would like to sell it at a fair price rather than just letting it sit around.

Thanks, Longone

The older 45's seem to go for 50-75$ usually. Looking on the auction sites can give you an idea of what people are willing to pay. Look for an average, not the 1 bonehead who pays 2X new for an old tool.

First one I bought was $15.00, but a favor done for the dealer is factored into this. Bought 2nd one at a gun show complete with a .358 die, but short the ratchet for $20.00. This is in No. Indiana. BTW Harbor Freight has ratches that fit.

I appreciate the replies, that is exactly what I was looking for. It is a used piece of equipment that is collecting dust in my basement, I was looking to get it into someone else's hands so they could put it to good use. I wasn't looking to retire from it just a fair price. :drinks:

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanks, Longone

OK try not to laugh too loud, I have a Phelps bullet sizer, don't know if anyone collects older equipment or not but maybe someone just wants it. You pay shipping from 06850 and we'll talk.

59Stude, now that is a handle that appeals to me. I put many, many miles in a Studebaker. Was my first "car", actually a 49 pickup my Dad bought for me so I would not get in trouble in high school. It worked, I never got a date driving it.

Pressman, this was/is my first car, I bought it in autum of 1972 when I realised I not could ride my bike, an -72FX Harley that I bought new that spring of 1972 when the snow started to come down, so I wanted a classic car, and bought this Lark-59.

I still have them both, after 36 years.
