I have a batch of PC bullets to load.
Do you grease the bullets or do you load them dry ??
Thanks Dave

you can just load them, or lube them too if you wanted

I PC so I don't have to get any lube in my dies.

Just load them dry -- otherwise why PC

Well they are pretty.
It just doesn't seem right to shoot a cast bullet with out putting grease on it.
But I might get use to it.
does it make any difference in the accuracy in your opinion.
this is all new to me,
Thanks Dave

do you size them after PC?

It is safer to size after PCing to eliminate the risk of contamination from the sizing die.

IF you have to size before make sure you clean the sizing die well getting ALL the lube/oil off

to make sizing PC'd boolits easier you can use a little case lube

Mine went through the sizing die with out any issues.
I clean my sizing dies after each use.
Does any one use oneshot or something on there PC bullets when they size them?
Thanks

that's why i asked- i use lube to size them (actually, i use bag balm) and this serves as a small but sufficient amount to use when reloading.
I dont really know what i am doing but this seems to work for me

I am just getting started with PC but have had good luck powder coating, sizing and shooting. No lube added.

Best regards

ya pc kinda makes it so it don't really matter which way you go about it. can go completely dry, sometimes I smear tumble lube on wax paper then roll the pc boolits on in before sizing and it makes sizing and loading feel a little bit smoother, and subjectively feel my bore looks nicer that way. recently I started wet tumbling my brass and then dry tumbling with nu finish so seating feels smooth now dry, before it felt like pushing rubber on glass and wasn't fun to seat. if im shooting something that has a large lube grove that obturates out flat when shooting naked ill fill the lube groove even when pc'd cause I don't like it coming out looking different than it went in. but you can do whatever you like as long as it happens after the pc is baked on.

I don't lube, PC coat and size, don't see any reason to lube, period.

PC only here...no lube ever ever ever needed! Why go back to messy old grease on top of PC when you are using modern PC coating technology?

Depending on the final size I want, I have been know to size B4 PC and after PC.

Do what you gun likes.
