Ok these have been baffling me for a while. I picked up a small box of about 90 these in an estate sale earlier this year, so far I can't find any info on the interwebs about these. These are based off 307 Winchester cases with an over all case length of 1.59", base of shoulder to case head is 1.20", case mouth is ~.280" (not sure if they are sized or not). I took a picture of them next to a 30-30 Win case for size comparison.

My guesses are 308BR (benchrest) or 308x1.5 Barnes, formed, but not yet sized or trimmed.

Or, perhaps, a 7mm version of same.

7mm wildcat for Contenders, 7 International?
Lots of 7mm chamberings for Contenders were invented during the 1970s and 80s.

Still have not figured out what these are for, is there anyone that can use these? I hate seeing good brass go into the scrap bucket. Just spring for the postage and I'll send them to you.

I would post them in the for sale area but it says I am not able to post anything in there.

7mm BR is my guess. There's a handgun in that caliber.

I have reset your profile so you should be good to go in the S&S area.
