I was told that this is a great flux, but I can't find it for sale anywhere...

1) is it really that much better
2) is it still available anywhere?

I'm going.into alloying season and wanted to try it if it works and is available

The name rang a bell, so I nosed around on the computer and the net, to find an early post I started here 13 years ago, asking about VitaFlux. It was a commercial flux, packed in lead alloy tube containers, for tossing into a one ton printer's crucible of molten linotype. I had found some on ebay and was asking the board about it.

It had been out of production long before 2013, though Midway has a page for Vita N Flux, but shows it as discontinued. You might find some on ebay, but I recommend you use the search term "vita flux." Best source would be an old print shop that had a linotype operation.
