What is the differences between the 45 Colt Carbine (275 Grain), Hollow Point Mold and the MP 454-640 Hollow Point that they list on their site?

Just looking at the pictures it seems they are pretty close other than the one vs two lube grooves. Maybe the 640 has a longer crimp to meplate and smaller meplate?

The 640 doesn't have the drawing on the product page and doesn't say how heavy the bullet should drop.

Just curious if anyone has any experience with both of these and has feedback on them.

45 Carabine 275grs, (right) 640 250grs left https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200508/79fea88068e1e0c229afacccb17a6e52.plist
640 is better for lever actions.

Wow! Thanks for the quick response. That's great to see them side by side like that.

That looks like it would be a great boolit in my Rossi '92 and one of my Blackhawks. GF

I was given some of the 275 gr boolits to try and really like them in the blackhawk but MP is currently sold out of that mold in the configuration I want but they still have some of the 640 molds so that's why I was asking the difference.
