I was disappointed in my last 400 327 fed Hornady brass and bought 500 starline. I ran 100 through my press sizing them as all are and all was well. I was looking at the brass and thought they were really nice at .335, my Hornady die was sizing to .329, hmm. Got my Lee die and RCBS and they were sizing to .331, my fired brass is .336-.337. I ran 100 rounds through the Lee, better and 100 rounds direct with no sizing prep, They looked awesome, chambered great, fired great, I want a die that is going to size to .334-.335 now, less brass work, less elbow work, less everything. I considered maybe just cleaning and firing formed to the chambers but the fired brass is just a bit snug to be comfortable and consistent.

Which company is the consensus to make a custom die size the easiest to deal with?

Just buy an older steel sizer. Then polish it to the size you need.
